What we do

Survivor leadership, research evidence, and community partnership are at the heart of everything we do.

Collaborating with survivors, community organizations, and research scholars, we elevate standards of care through four integrated strategies – survivor services, research, capacity building, and survivor leadership.

our work

We help survivors of human trafficking and gender-based violence recover from their trauma, reduce their risk for re-exploitation, and support their resilience and security. We use trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches to address survivors’ real needs.

We work diligently to provide the highest quality programs in the sector. We integrate research into everything we do so that we continually strengthen our programs, building an evidence base for effective practice.

We train and mentor other service providers in survivor-centered, evidence-based, and culturally-adapted interventions. We share our knowledge from our research and practice to strengthen the quality of care in the broader movement.

We collaborate with survivors to advocate for survivors’ priorities, goals, and recommendations to be centered at the heart of all efforts to combat human trafficking and gender-based violence. We co-lead programming and research in partnership with survivors.
