In October 2022, the Cebu Catholic Television Network Channel 47 invited Eleison’s Executive Director, Dr. Laura Cordisco Tsai, for an interview at their program, “In the Eyes of Women.” During the live broadcast with Atty. Virginia Palanca Santiago, Dr. Cordisco Tsai spoke about Eleison Foundation’s beginnings and its ongoing advocacy to provide survivor-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based services to survivors of human trafficking and gender-based violence in Cebu, Philippines. During the interview, Dr. Cordisco Tsai provided information for the community regarding Eleison’s service for survivors, capacity building programs, research, and grantmaking. Dr. Cordisco Tsai reiterated Eleison’s willingness to receive referrals from other community partners and members. Dr. Cordisco Tsai and Atty. Santiago discussed the importance of ensuring that male and non-binary survivors also receive access to high-quality supportive services.
