Dr. Jerri Middleton (she/her) is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at California Baptist University. Her academic and clinical practice focuses on creating trauma-informed and transdisciplinary spaces within and beyond the behavioral health field. Her social work practice spans psychiatric and substance use hospitals, child welfare, residential treatment centers, and community social work, with a clinical focus on trauma. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and operates a private practice specializing in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and somatic-based interventions for survivors of sexual violence. She holds a BSW from Texas Tech University, an MSW from the University of Alabama, and a DSW from California Baptist University.
